“The Coffee’s Cold Again”

I swear I just made it. But somewhere between wiping a counter, opening six tabs, and thinking about starting something I already forgot, the coffee’s cold again.

That’s ADHD for me. It’s not just distraction. It’s overflow. Too many thoughts, too much feeling, and no off switch when everything’s on at once.

Sometimes, I get stuck between wanting to do everything….and feeling like I can’t finish anything. And the guilt that follows? Feels like a second job.

But here’s what I’m learning: My brain isn’t broken, it’s just wired like jazz. Unexpected, disorganized, but sometimes…kind of brilliant.

This blog is my warm cup I’m learning to finish. Even if I have to reheat it a few times.

🌿 Oh, and if you want to see what happens when ADHD meets a garden center, you’ll love my latest post: My Plant Obsession Era. It includes ferns, regrets, and questionable life choices, so basically, it’s on brand.

  1. This is why I love the internet – growing up with ADHD, I didn’t have anyone to relate to. Yet online, people are able to perfectly describe it and explain what I go through every day. Great post 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Holly 💛 It means a lot to know this resonated with you. Growing up feeling misunderstood is something so many of us with ADHD share, and it’s wild how the internet can finally make us feel seen. Grateful we can connect through stories like this 💬✨

Your turn, what does your ADHD brain do? 😭✨ / Cuéntame, ¿qué hace tu cerebro ADHD?
